more updates

We are busy working on our long to do list. Here are some of the latest things we have accomplished.

We received our Travel Packet from WHFC today. It was pretty exciting to receive this packet. It is kind of the official word from our agency that our travel plans are in sight. Our To Do List just got bigger. We have more documents that we need to gather and some of our old documents need to be updated. All documents will need to be notarized than apostilled at the state capitol. The paper chase begins again!

I met with our pediatrician today. Dr. Lally at Dover Pediatrics will be our primary pediatrician and she has four other docs in the office who will act as back up. She seemed very nice, easy to talk to and answered all my questions without rushing. She has many years experience and has worked with other children born in Eastern Europe so she should be a good match for us.

I met with our PCP today to talk about what vaccinations we both need to get before we travel. Eric just needs to get his Hep A shots and will need to take the Typhoid fever pills just before we travel. I still need to get my flu shot for this year, an updated tetanus/diphtheria, and Hep A. I will also need to take the Typhoid fever pills just before we travel. I am scheduled to get my last Hep B shot on Dec. 11th. In addition, I spoke with our doc about getting some prescriptions to take with us in case we get sick while we are overseas. He is going to give us each prescription for cipro and antibiotics in case we need them.
