Yahoo!!! We are going to Kazakhstan FINALLY !!
We got the long awaited phone call this morning at 10:00am. It is actually a funny story on when it came in. We both were still in bed because we had not gone to bed till a little after 2:30am. So we were both sound asleep when the phone rang. The phone is on Eric’s side of the bed so I hear him answer it. Then I hear him say “I am in bed right now, I can’t write down this information. Can I call you back in a little bit?” Then he says “No, I’m not sick. We just went to bed really late.” Then he says “Saturday, we have to leave by this Saturday?” Of course by this time we both are fully awake and fully aware what is finally happening. He then tells her we will get up and call her back in a little bit.
So yes we are leaving this Saturday. We are supposed to be in Aqtobe, Kazakhstan by Monday, February 4th to meet with the Baby House Director and to meet our child for the first time. We spent all of today in a near panic. The two biggest things we had to do today was mail out our visa applications to the Kazakhstan Embassy in Washington, DC and arrange for our flights. Thankfully we did accomplish these two things along with many of the other tasks on our To Do List. I have a feeling we will be plenty busy right up to the moment that we leave to catch our flight.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OGM I am SO excited! SOOSOSOSOSOOSOS excited! I can't wait to see pics of you with baby Kaz, and with Christy! Do you follow her blog? She's there now! How exciting! WooohooooO!
YIPPEE!!! I can't believe it's finally here! Next time I see you two you will be mommy and daddy! Congrats. You will be plenty busy the next 2 days that's for sure. I am so excited to see pics of our new little niece/nephew.

I am so excited for both of you. You're almost there. You will be 3 sooner than ever. Congratulations again on becoming parents. Kami, you will make a great mom. Eric, I've never met you but form what Kami has said you are a wonderful man. Best of luck as you start the next chapter of your lives together.

Fantastic news, I can't believe after all this time you now have to rush to go on Saturday. You must be so excited! We are thrilled for you and can not wait until we get to see photos and hear from you in Kaz.
