It's a BOY !!!

He was born on April 15, 2007 and at birth he weighed 6 lbs 5 ozs. and was 19.3” long.

His name now is Bekzat but we will be changing it to Lincoln. When you call him Bekzat he looks right at you so we are trying to get him to understand that Lincoln will be his new name.

On January 15^th he weighed 16 pounds and was 27.6” long. He will be measured again on February 15^th.

He is soooo adorable as you can see!! His eye lashes are really long. To me he does not feel like he weights 16 pounds. He is a tiny little thing under all those clothes. They did let us undress him on the first day so we could check him out. He is a skinny little guy. His legs are all muscle no baby fat on him.

He is very alert, always looking around. He turns and looks for every sound. He is developing really well. He can roll over, crawl, from a crawl position he can get up to flat foot and flat hands. It is pretty cute when he gets to this position but then he has no idea what to do next. He falls forward onto his head so we have to be watching to catch him. When we stand him up he can stand for a few seconds on his own. In the walker he can scoot backwards and sideways but he has not figured out yet how to go forward. He understands that picking up two toys and hitting them together makes noise. When we clap our hands he copies us. This usually gets him smiling and laughing too. He is really talkative always making some kind of sound. So we are working on getting him to say DaDa. Tossing him up in the air is good for getting a smile response. When you run your finger along his cheek and neck line it makes him giggle. The baby house doctor told us he is the most active baby in his group.

He has two top teeth and two bottom teeth broken through but he is teething now so soon we will have more teeth. He’s a little drool machine.

Our international doctor told us that he believes he is healthy and he thought he was developing really well.

We are able to visit him twice a day for two hours each visit. On Sunday’s we will only see him for one visit in the morning.

We of course think he is PERFECT !!

It took 15 minutes to upload this one picture. We have to leave in 10 minutes for our afternoon visit I will try and get online later and add more pictures. We have a million of them all ready.

We love getting emails but if we don't respond to you it is only because we have very limited time and the internet is SO slow.
