Appeal Period Day 10 of 15

Dada, why is my hat so crooked on my head?

He kept his hat on his head like this for the longest time. He usually takes it off as soon as you put it on but for some reason this position of it did not seem to bother him.





Lincoln will you share those O's with me?







Lincoln was late for our morning visit by about 15 to 20 minutes. We were told they had to wake him up. Poor thing he had sleepy marks running all down the side of his face. It took about a half hour before he wanted to get down and play. He was a Daddy’s boy for most the morning, he really just wanted to sit or play with Eric. To keep myself busy I went around and played with the other kids. Every once in awhile Lincoln would come over and sit with or near me. We think it is great that he is perfectly happy with either one of us. Toward the end of the visit he got a little fussy and he just wanted me to walk with him around the room. I guess he had enough of Dada and want time with Mama because he fussed till I took him. (We call Eric Dada now in front of him since he knows how to say that. We are hoping he figures out that Eric is Dada. He doesn’t actually say it too much unless we say it then he might repeat it. But we are working on it still along with Mama.)

In between visits today we made a quick stop at the Gros super market which is out at the new mall. We need to get more juice for Lincoln and Eric & Joel were in need of more Vodka. After the market everyone went back to their own apartments. At the mall we got a pizza that we brought home with us to eat. I then took a nap for about an hour and Eric was on the computer.

Our afternoon visit was another success. Lincoln was in a really good mood. We played on the chairs again for a long time. He played with the walker a bit. He was all over the playroom this afternoon. He practiced his screaming some more. He can hit some high notes now. We can’t wait for him to unleash that sound while we are on the plane.

This evening we are just relaxing at the apartment. We have big plans for tomorrow so we are resting tonight. Eric has a conference call for work so he will be kicking me off the internet soon so I better get this posted for you.
