Today's family photo

Look you can see my bottom teeth.

My ball....

I can get it...

Got it, with Daddy's help.

Waiting for our court hearing day 4

We had a lazy Sunday here is Kazakhstan. Other than our two hour visit with Lincoln we have just been hanging out here at the apartment. Since we did not have the morning visit today we were able to sleep in a bit. It felt nice to sleep in then get up and just be lazy this morning. We are well aware that days like today will not be happening in the very near future.

We got picked up to go see Lincoln at 2:30. He was in good spirits again today. His teeth don’t seem to be bothering him as much the last couple of days. His top teeth are getting bigger. He has 3 on top and 2 on the bottom. I felt around in there and I couldn’t feel anymore coming through. Maybe he will have a break for a little while before more decide to come in. He practiced his walking and crawled all over the playroom pushing and chasing his car. He was very smiley today and laughed a little more than most days. We gave him plum juice today and he loved it. He drank the whole 7 ounce bottle. We were surprised because he normally only drinks 4 or 5 ounces of his juice. He loves apple too he usually will drink a whole bottle of apple.

Temperature here in Aktobe is measured in Celsius and I thought I was correctly converting it into Fahrenheit but I was not. So sorry, I have been misleading all of you and myself. The Celsius temperature has been going between -7 to -21 here during the day. This is actually 18 to -8 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the weather for during the day and does not factor in winds or anything. I am happy to know that we have not been below zero everyday but let me tell you it has felt oh so cold here daily. Today on the other hand wasn’t too bad. It was lightly snowing out and the wind was blowing but not gusting. As it turns out today was our warmest day yet at 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tomorrow we should find out the exact day and time of our court hearing. Hopefully it will be soon!

That weather sure sounds scary...I think our ETA of May is sounding better and better. Surely your keeping plenty warm by the mere thought of your gorgeous son. Love seeing the family photos. What time is your morning visit? Must be pretty darn early if you are awake at 7:30!

Lincoln will be climbing over that furniture all by himself before you know it! Love the pics!

Patti and I board our plane to meet our baby in about 20 hours! We are very nervous but also excited!! We can't wait to meet him!!

I had a hard time adjusting to the metric system myself. I still cant do the measurments on my own without some sort of conversion cheat. So you are not alone.

If he is actively climbing now, it wont be long before he is taking those first steps on his own. The climbing motions are great for thigh muscle strength and stability. Watch out world, here comes Lincoln!
