Bonding day 2

Our morning visit was cancelled today because the baby’s needed to go get a medical exam which is one of the requirements for court. They both passed their exams. Since we were not able to visit, we thought we would be able to get caught up on the blog and returning emails but when we got up in the morning we realized we had no power or phone service. This made for a long morning at the hotel. We were able to attend the afternoon visit. Lincoln gave me a huge smile as the caregiver handed him to me. It is amazing how he recognizes us so soon. He laughed for us for the first time and cried a little when we wiped his face off. Today his new trick was to get up on all fours from a crawl position. He looked really cute flat foot, flat hands on the floor but had no idea what to do at that point.

After our visit we went to the business center for dinner and to use the internet café. We were hoping the internet would be a faster connection. It was better but still nothing like what we have home. Plus it was more expensive than the internet in our hotel room. Our dinners were really good. The food here has been very good. This is totally opposite from what everyone told us to expect. So we are thankful for that.
