not that I am counting. . .
Yup we are packing up only have a few little piles of stuff here and there that need to be squeezed in at the last minute.
Our flight is at 7:20am but we are getting picked up at 4:20am which means we have to get up at what time??? 3:20am?? Maybe we shouldn't even sleep... we must this little man will keep us hopping and stressing all day tomorrow we are sure.
Unfortunately we think Lincoln may have a stomach bug or something. Or maybe he knows we are in for another huge change?? I don't know but he has spit up several times today. He rarely has done that since moving out of the baby house. Plus he gave us two super dirty presents within an hour tonight. He also screamed bloody murder for nearly two hours before deciding to give up and go to sleep. He does get upset at times and screams on the top of his lungs but never for nearly two hours straight. We pray this is not an indication of what awaits us tomorrow. I told Eric if our first leg of 8 hours to Amsterdam is lots of screaming we may need to spend the night and do this over more than one day. Regardless I am sure they won't allow us on the plane if he hits his high notes. We did find out today that there will most likely be several new families on the plane with us to Amsterdam, we hope we don't have the one and only screamer of the bunch.
Hopefully the next time I post it will be from my own living room! Ah I can't wait!!!
PS: I will also update this once we are safely at home the last two days have been exciting here. We have been on a cable car, saw the olympic torch relay, and had an easier than expected visit to the US Embassy. I was never so excited to see the US flag on an uniform as I was today.
Good 'ole USA, here we come!!!

As I write this you guys are probably in the air on your way to the USA. I cannot wait to know that you are home safe and sound with Lincoln, and hopefully hear that he was an angel on the flights!
Sounds like an exciting time in Almaty. Looking forward to the details. :-)
Yay! How exciting - the HOME stretch so to speak! Well, Lincoln was a good traveler on the first flight so I'm sure he'll be fascinated with all that is going on around him to pre-empt the screaming! Have a safe and smooth flight home!
I am so happy for you guys that you are finally on the home stretch..literally!! Safe travels and look forward to hearing your next blog from home.

Yea!! I'm so glad you're on your way home. I'll pray for you that Lincoln will be good for you on your long flights. He has adjusted to all his other changes so well that I think he should be just fine for you. He'll probably sense your excited to get home and be excited as well. Travel safe and I'm looking forward to your blog updates from your livingroom.
How exciting! Lincoln will do great! No matter how he is, it will be all worth it to finally have him home with you safe and sound! You must be so happy! I know we are for the 3 of you! I can't wait to finally meet the little guy! Good Luck and see you soon! Love you guys! Terri and family XOXOXO
I am sooo happy for the three of you! I know that it must be a huge weight off of your shoulders.
With all of the positive thoughts and prayers I am sure the three of you will make those long flights with ease. Just remember that with every trial comes strength and expierience!
Lots of love and hugs for your long trip,
Kim Robb

Hopefully you've not gotten stuck in another foreign city for another day. So hopefully, by the time you're reading this...
Welcome home!!!
May you enjoy everything about your "new" life --- parenting, greasy burgers, knowing that Eric is a wonderful guy (despite his having you wear warm boots instead of fashionable ones...), and people who speak your same language..... New appreciation, right?
And to Lincoln...
Welcome to your new home! You have wonderful parents who you should fully expect to spoil you rotten. [Sidenote to Kami and Eric: Print/save this comment so he can use it as a bargaining tool against you for more toys in a few years...] We'll expect to see you down here for a Disney trip in a few years!
-Mike, Celeste, and Cori
We are so excited for you to finally be making your way back HOME! I can't even imagine the feeling!! Welcome Home! We're looking forward to your update!
Dear lord I can't stand it!!! I thought about you guys all day today. Said a little prayer that Lincoln is sleeping. :) Looking forward to seeing you guys.
